Breakfast in Naples -Part 2

Food, Naples / Thursday, January 17th, 2019

Hello! In case you missed my last post, this week I am reviewing my top 6 favorite spots for breakfast (in Naples). So, if you missed #s 1-3, you can see it on my 1/14/19 entry.
On weekends I like to go out to breakfast/brunch. It’s fun way to start the day and good way to meet up with my other friends that are also working during the week. With that said, Naples has MANY breakfast eateries. Whether you live in the area or are planning a visit, check out my favorites.

Goldie’s Restaurant- This tiny restaurant is located off Pine Ridge Rd/Taylor Rd. They are open M-S 7a-3p. if you want traditional, nothing fancy breakfast that won’t break the budget, Goldie’s is the place. Now – be warned, you may have to wait. That alone tells you it’s worth trying :). I usually order the 2 eggs, toast, potatoes (the hash browns are sooo good), or grits for just $4.55. Add bacon, sausage/ turkey sausage or ham for and additional $1.30. Coffee refills are unlimited. It’s a total deal, for less that $10 (including tip) you have a full breakfast. Here is the link to check out the entire menu . http://www.goldiesrestaurant.com/

First Watch – Banyan /Gulf Shore location – Okay, First Watch is a chain, but I love it all the same. My favorite of all First Watch restaurants is the one on Banyan & Gulf Shore. I love how you can sit outside and you got it, have a view of the water and the boats. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The Avocado toast is amazing. The Kale tonic – oh my! My fav!!!!! Made with Kale, green apple, and lemon, you can’t even taste the kale. But trust me it’s greener than green in appearance, so there is kale in the mix. Its GOOD. The ingredients used at this First Watch include many local ingredients. The Traditional is $8.19 and includes 2 eggs, side of meat (Turkey bacon or turkey sausage is an option), toast of choice, and potatoes or fruit. There are many options and you get lots of food. I usually end up with a to go box. The lunch menu has a pick 2 section, you can pick two: half of sandwich of choice, Salad, Sandwich, Soup for $7.99. https://www.firstwatch.com/locations/banyan-gulf-shore

Hampton Social – located at Mercato where McCormick and Schmidt used to be. My last review is also a chain and new to Naples. I was blessed to be invited to their soft openings (brunch and dinner). The brunch (as dinner) is good! Brunch is available on Saturday/Sunday ONLY from 10a-3p. The drinks at Hampton Social are yummy! too! My order consisted of the classic eggs Benedict ($15.99) along with Sea of Lavender beverage. Sea of Lavender is hangar one rose vodka, lemon, and lavender. It was not too strong and very refreshing. Hampton is probably the most expensive eatery of my reviews, however, worth it if you want to splurge or are having a celebration. The atmosphere at Hampton Social is like being at a boat club in, you guessed it, The Hamptons. https://www.thehamptonsocial.com/naples

Well, there you have it. My 6 favorite breakfast spots in Naples. Have you been to any of these locations? Do you have a fav breakfast/brunch spot not mentioned above? Drop a comment below and let me know.
Thanks for stopping by :-).

PS -These are all my personal comments and I am not paid to write this. Hampton Social was the only location that was complimentary and I do plan to return (on my own dime).
