Ice cream is good in the winter or summer (okay, Naples winters are basically summer, I know, lol).
As you will learn, I am one picky eater, so if I am taking the time to post about it, it is good!
That being said, SWFL has one of the best ice cream makers around! Royal Scoop Ice Cream. They are based in Bonita Spring, but have independently owned locations throughout Lee and Collier counties. Two of my favorite locations are in Naples (shocker, lol); Royal Scoop at Berkshire and M&M’s Cafe at Tin City, both locations happen to be owned and operated by the same person, Naples native Matthew Moen.
M&M’s Cafe at Tin City – This cafe has more than just Royal Scoop ice-cream. They also serve yummy food. M&M’s has a full menu for breakfast and lunch items. Angus burger, sandwiches (made with Boar’s Head meat and cheeses), Greek salad, and so much more. It is very casual so perfect spot to go to after leaving the beach. Of course, you don’t just have to be leaving the beach to go. And the ice-cream, they have 28 Royal Scoop flavors. The waffle cones are made on premises. Don’t forget to ask for a sample when you go, it’s allowed. 😉 M&M’s Café is located at Tin City at 1200 5th Ave S, Naples.
Royal Scoop Homemade Ice-Cream at Berkshire Commons – This adorable location is open 7 days a week 12n-10p and has 44 flavors of ice-cream and of course house made waffle cones. The decor at this location is awesome with its aqua/green floors, inviting lighting, nice music, and colorful, fun murals on the walls. If you are anywhere near Livingston and Radio Road, you must stop in. Royal Scoop at Berkshire is located at 7335 Radio Rd, suite 104.
I should add that the staff at both locations are extremely friendly and efficient.
Until next week when I will share how to go about writing to the Royal Family of England and receive a reply.
Thanks for stopping by! What’s your favorite ice-cream?? Leave me a comment below.
